The subsurface Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR) this subject researched is Carrier-Free Pulse Ground Penetrating Radar.The main mission of this subject is to analyze and research a digital signal processing algorithm of subsurface Ground Penetrating Radar and realize the signal processing unit in the DSP target board. The main function of this signal processing unit is to bring the radar echo data into Clutter Reduction processing and bring the data after Clutter Reduction into Synthetic Aperture(SA) processing based on holographic imaging in order to improve the image resolution. In this thesis, the roadmap and the general principle of GPR is introduced; Signal model of GPR is analyzed and signal processing algorithm of subsurface GPR this subject used is also presented; The method of realizing signal processing unit is described and the processing result is compared with that the PC does. At last, two pieces of algorithm are presented to improve the ability of real time processing and the resolving power to the target. What I have done in this subject include:Analyze the signal model of subsurface Ground Penetrating Radar and the feature of each part of radar echo data.Research the signal process algorithm, that includes Clutter Reduction algorithm and Synthetic Aperture algorithm.Analyze the architecture and feature of ADSP-21161N and realize the signal processing unit for subsurface GPR in DSP target board.Present Synthetic Aperture fast algorithm of subsurface GPR to improve the ability of real time processing.Present reflecting signal phase invertion selfadapting processing algorithm of subsurface GPR to improve the orthogonal resolving power to the target.
