Optical fiber composite material structure of widely application prospects is a heated research in nowadays study. And the real-time inspect and fast repair which are highly concerned about and studied recently is the major application field of optical fiber composite material structure.In this paper, a system for real-time inspect and fast repair based on optical fiber composite material structure is introduced, and the designing of optical fiber system, the module of signal collecting and processing, and structure of fast repair are particularly discussed. And then, the performance of the system contrived in this paper is analyzed and evaluated through the experiments.In the designing of inspect module, we firstly designed the optical fiber sensor which is used for inspecting the distortion and damage; And the transition circuit of photo electricity that turns the signal of light intensity to the electric signal and the magnifying circuit of signal that magnifies the electric signal for collecting are also discussed.The module of signal collecting and processing is consist of A/D transition, signal processing and identifying and the SCI-PC series port communication. After A/D transition, the digital signal is sent to the signal processing and identifying part, the program will calculate the position and the intensity of the damage through the specified algorithm. The status of the optical fiber composite material structure figured out by signal processing and identifying will be transfer to the PC for information log through the SCI series port.The fast repair module includes the driving circuit to the step-motor, and the controller of the pulse. The driving circuit to the step-motor is used to enhance the input current of pulse to magnify the circuit power. The controller of the pulse is in the charge of repair action.At last, the whole system for real-time inspect and fast repair based on optical fiber composite material structure including the hardware and the software is debugged and its performance is well satisfied the requirements. The innovations of this thesis are:1. We realize signal gathering, processing and the control using the special capability of TMS320LF2407 DSP chip. Because the DSP processing is quick, we can realize fast process, real-time monitor. We can make the accurate judgment to the healthy condition of the structure and can repair it quickly.2. Using the step-motor control the lamp-source switching system, we can realize the precise control, and the lamp-source highly coupled. Meanwhile, using the DSP serial communication function we can send the material structure status messages to the PC at the same time to establish the monitoring diary, this can realize the long-distance computation and analysis.
