Smart structure concept employed in active vibration control (AVC) is an important research field of vibration engineering, which shows great possibility in aerospace applications. And the miniaturization of the AVC now becomes an urgent demand for the modern industries, especially, for the aerospace engineering.This paper focuses on the integration and miniaturization of active vibration control smart structures, including the following research work:At first, the DC-DC conversion is developed using the piezoelectric transformer. According to the characteristic of piezoelectric transformer, the output voltage of the piezoelectric transformer can keep invariability through adjusting the frequency of driving wave under the different loads.Secondly, the switching power amplification is designed using pulse-width modulation (PWM) and digital signal processing. The PWM which is used to driver the full-brige inverter circuit is generated by DSP. The width of the PWM is according to the value which is generated bu the AD segment in the system. So the main processor output the PWM according to the AD convert data. If the Adaptive controlling arithmetic is adopted in the DSP to calculate the width of PWM, the system is active vibration control system.Thirdly, the communication segment of controlling system is developed. The communications can be divided into two parts-the USB and SCI. The SCI can be used as the External Program Interface to download program from the PC into the DSP. In addition, host computer can send command through communicating posts to the control system divece, and alse can exchange date with the miniaturization control system divece.At last, a couple of experiments are employed to validate performances and effects of the miniaturization active vibration controller.
