Remote Visual Tutorial System Based On Web

Network didactical has become a fital aspect of the modern education system with the development of the computer communication technologies. Compared with traditional education methods ,the Remote didactical system based on Internet gets out of the limitations in site and time of the tradition education ,which can make it possible that the teachers and students can intercourse face-to-face by up-to-date technologies of internet ,the limitations of the students'quantity and limitations of education site ,which can make full use of and privilege the education resources.Considering contemporary systems disadvantages,such as poor functions, lack of virtual interaction,which contribute us to develop a brilliant system with characteristics of across platform ,based on web and with Brower/Server, provided with audio and video functions.There are four main characteristics in this system:across platform, modularization, B/S similar structure and communicate in muti-point. The Java language makes the code run in different platform without rewriting several times. Adapting the modularization design,we divide the whole system into two main modules, in each module several samll modules are involved. Every module has its own interface. We should only provide the necessary parameters to the module.The famous company SUN devolped Java Media Framework(JMF) providing the key technology of interaction in audio and video. The transmission of streaming media uses RTP/RTCP protocol.The system uses Java Bean, Java Applet and JSP to implement the B/S structure, Java Bean finish listening in the server side, hold the client multimedia stream and resend the stream to the client side; By using Java Applet ,the media capture ,media compress and media play process can be process in the web. Java Bean and Java Applet work together in contact of JSP, JSP web provides all the clients identical interface. We use the hold-trasmit method to implement the multi-point communication ,what the users need to do is just send a request to the server. The Java Bean working in the server side will response the request and helps to get the links betweent teacher side and students side holded to make them comunicate with each other just in browers.
