With the development of computer and electronic technique,embedded system has been applied in many fields,and improved greatly on the hard and soft systems,such as Single Chip Microcomputer is being replaced gradually by Embedded MPU and RTOS has been run in many MPUs. Thus many complex functions can be realized in MPU.The main content of this paper is on the study of porting and application forμC/OS-II RTOS with TMS320LF2407 by using the development tool CCS2.2,and gives the instance on the target board ,which is proved successful through practice.First, this paper discusses the concept and the developing course of embedded system,and has a comparative analysis of three kinds of real time system,brings forward the necessity of applying RTOS to embedded system.The common structure and character ofμC/OS-II,a preemptive kernel system ,are introduced.Then this paper analysises the principle about the kernel ofμC/OS-II,and gives detail discuss about task scheduling,context switch and interrupt-context switch,also illuminates how theμC/OS-II's processor specific code works.And then this paper describes in general terms what needs to be done to adaptμC/OS-II to different processor architectures,and gives the methods of programming and testing the porting example.Finally,experiment proves that the portingμC/OS-II to TMS320LF2407 runs well on the target board.
