As a high-profit, effective and promising casting process, die-casting die is playing a more and more important role in manufacturing area. Die-casting die is a typical single-piece or small amount customization product. Customers usually demand fast products quotation even with detailed pricing lists. Traditional die pricing has some shortcomings such as long quotation period, inaccurate pricing consequence and low-level informationization. Providing customers with fast and accurate quotation of die-casting die has been the key factor for manufacturers to get orders.On the basis of investigation into domestic die-casting die enterprises, this thesis analyzes present condition and up-to-date research on die-casting die quotation inland and abroad. A normative and rational calculating method for die-casting die quotation is expounded in this paper. A computer quotation information management system is developed. With network and database technologies, the software system was established based on B/S three-tier framework structure. According to demand analysis of the customer, the system was developed with MVC architecture and J2EE platform. The software framework decreases software and hardware requirements, provides the system with good flexibility and expansibility and also promotes workability and maintainability and upgrading capability of the system.The application of this system improves traditional die quotation method remarkably, reduces human resource cost and promotes pricing efficiency. Combined with die pricing and manufacturing in products database designing, the system improves efficiency of pricing information and it's useful to die-casting die manufacturing arrangement in enterprises.
