The Design And Implementation Of Network Performance Management Module

With the continuous improvement of communication technology, the scale of communication network in China is becoming increasingly larger. The traditional management methods are drawing blueprints manually in communication resource management system, but it no longer meets the need of modern management. The difficulty of inquiring, managing and maintaining communication resource management system is a hot problem in the present. The geographic location of resource can be shown in the frame with geographic information system technology, which can efficiently manage and maintain communication networks, also address most of the above issues. But only showing the distribution of resource is not enough, a lot of other information is also very important, for example, more and more attention has been paid to network performance, so it is practically significant to introduce performance management module into communication resource management system in this article.The overall framework map of communication resource management system has been introduced in the paper, technology such as MVC pattern in J2EE and spring framework has been adopted in the system.The step of designing tables in database has been introduced in the paper, all the database tables of resource in our system have been created. Excel table can be embedded in frame with DSO framer control object and the generation of resource report table has been realized in the paper, which facilitates communication resource managers to grasp the overall message of resource,the difficulty of inquiring has been resolved.The framework map of performance management module has been designed in the paper. SNMP was used in data collection, Quartz was used in thread scheduling, concurrency of data collection thread and data disposal thread has been achieved using producer-consumer pattern, JFreeChart was adopted to show performance curve, the function of real time performance management and timer performance management in performance management module has been implemented. The result shows that the performance curve of network and equipments can be shown in chart in the system, and the real-time monitoring and historical inquiry of performance status about network and equipments have been implemented, which enables managers to grip the performance of communication network.
