Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a digital operational electronic device which is widely used in industrial environment. It executes instructions such as logic operations, sequence operations, timing & counting and arithmetic operations with its inner programmable storage. It also controls all kinds of mechanism and procedure by digital or anolog output.The production line control system adopt Distributed Control System(DCS) structure, which distributes one PLC to one work-place, meanwhile a main-control PC controls all the production's actions by Ethernet network as a whole.The whole control system involves hardware modules and software modules. The hardware modules contains mechanism equipments, hydraulic equipments, electric equipments, computer-controlled equipments and monitor equipments.The software mudules contains UI program, Cartoon program, PLC program, Main-control program which is the most important for control system. Main-control program is divided into PLCs communication module, PCs communication module and Database system mudule.By now, the production line control system has passed the final check and satisfied all the pre-request, and it has been applied in a factory. Compare to traditional handwork production, the whole production line has higher work efficiency, more security and better stability. The design of the control system, which was elaborated in this thesis, would be adopted with little modifications as its universal property on design. |
