In Rapid Prototyping System, the default standard document format is STL, in the processing of CAD files switch to rapid prototyping systems of STL files . often has wrong model can not be rapid prototyping system to correctly .The author base of the previous research ,on the basis for further improving and enhancing the rapid prototyping system skills, The author on the STL model correction has done a series of studies.A Raised based on the topology model shortest path algorithm, Introduced the basic idea of the algorithm and testing process, and the final proved to be an example , the algorithm with the former than the algorithm, Due to the combination of depth and explore priorities directly connected with the advantages, and make full use of the STL model inherent topological relations recorded isolated edge belongs to the model to obtain mistakes, compensate for the nested within predecessors for not extracting mistakes, and guaranteeing the right to extract all types of mistakes on the basis of improving efficiency correction.Against CATIA software generated STL files easily create complex three-dimensional pore space of a vector-based raised algorithm of law changes repair holes, Introduced the basic idea of the algorithm and testing process, repair and the final proved to be an example , most of the current STL model repair software such holes repaired the result is not satisfactory, After repairing the STL model can not be applied to almost among processing. The algorithm through holes approximate three-dimensional two-dimensional plane into the hole, so we can have a better effect. So good to make up for this deficiency.
