Research On Integration Of Marketing Systems Based On Web Services

With the development of information system construction in power system, the problem of"information islands"has been put onto agenda. This thesis comes from Enshi Power Company who wants to integrate its sub-companies'marketing system into one platform. A solution based on web services has been researched and designed.The thesis firstly discusses the necessity of power system's application integration, and then studies both domestic and overseas current situation of web services'application. After analyzing the isomerism among the marketing systems of subsidiaries of Enshi Power Company and comparing the traditional solution and the web services solution, an integrated solution based on web services has been presented. Web services is the most advanced technology of SOA(Service Oriented Architecture). Web services based on XML is an excellent architecture, and its related specification SOAP, WSDL and UDDI has been introduced in detail. Then, security problems have been pointed out. Hidden trouble within SOAP messaging is the main problem, and WS-Security has been presented to solve it. Then, the popular tool Axis has been chosen to develop the system. Detailed developing process, difficult points, and web services'principle are described at the realization stage of the integration system. The result proves the feasibility of the web services integration method, solves the integration problems in isomerous systems'integration and security. Finally, the thesis gives some following work about the web services technology in the near future.Application integration method based on web services avoids the communication problems between platforms that have different architectures and software, solved companies'"information islands"problem.
