The Embedded operating system as the software platform of embedded system,is the most importent technology of embedded system development.The thesis presents the design and implementation an Embedded operating system—JKernel.After deeply research the theory and technology of Embedded operating system,and consider the insufficiency of current open-source Embedded operating system,proposed a scheme of JKernel better than the similar Embedded operating system in some aspect.In the design,JKernel has such typical characteristics as good Real-time,flexible device management function,the code size is few,facilitates porting to the different processor platform.In the kernel Implemtation,prsposed the time piece management for the task management,enable the kernel both support the strong timely system,and can apply to general timely system.Device management is compatible with Linux,can flexible manage device and extend the function of JKernel.Manages the continual bulk memory by partition,in each partition contains the integer and same size memory block,effective avoided the memory fragment.At last,after analyze the ARM system platform,proposed the kernel porting plan. Inserted the assembly language in the C language is applied,modify the code which is correlation to processor,succeeded porting JKernel to the ARM processor platform, has realized the initial design conception.
