OBJECTIVE:A frontier conception has been brought forward recently in the domain of child health care- Early Child Development (ECD) , it is an expanding appliance of child health care in new environments, and has marked characteristic of scientific popularization , speciality and abroad range in subjects design. However, many domestic and overseas studies have arbitrarily magnified or misrepresented some characteristic of ECD, thus misleading parents' enlightenments, depriving authorities of many scientific organizations. Special subject learning website (SSLW) , as an on-line investigative and learning platform, has gained plentiful teaching staffs' recognition. This study uses epidemiologic fundamental theories and methods to set up a SSLW, via comprehensions of learning information and influence factor of professional students in Putian University collage. In order to offer reference for teaching innovation, this paper test the feasibility of appliance in teaching, explores the effects on intervening in SSLW based on ECD, and aims to improve the SSLW during intervening. METHODS:160 students were selected by the numbers from class 2006 nurse department in Putian University Medical Collage, they filled the general conditions, study methods and skills, learning attitudes and motivations, self- perceive and self- apperceive, daily living situations and custom, objective factors etc in questionary, surveyed breadthwise the students' total achievement equal grades of each subject multiply weight then add them all. After they finished with semester examinations, next term randomly divided these students into three groups, the first group undergone researchful study on online SSLW, the second group undergone traditional multimedia teaching, the third group undergone learning by self-determination. Each of the students in the first group used a PC connecting on the SSLW to finish study in 90 minutes under "teacher' s introduction " pattern. The second group listened to a 90-minute multimedia lecture in common classroom, but their homework and teaching materials was the same as the first group's. The third group used the same teaching materials as above-mentioned, but added some teaching objective and emphases, also home work were applied. Evaluated the index of teaching quality by students' abilities in close examination and the scores given by collage's superintendent team during the attending lecture. In the learning session, subject of unit examination will be applied four times, included basic knowledge test 6 weeks later, applicable knowledge test 12 weeks later, write a exploring paper 18 weeks later and the finals. The examination papers were entirely accomplished by those who didn't participate in schoolteaching, avoid being the same with those routine exercises in class or network, but should be under the demand of teaching objective.Statistical data was analyzed by SPSS13.0 software package, primary means involve in Levene's Test for Equality of Variances, Reliability Test of Variance, Analysis of Variance, Multiple Stepwise Regression, Repeated Measurement Analysis of Variance.RESULTS:1. The surveyed results of learning status and factors effected on learning quality of professional students in Putian University Medical Collage:The mean grade of all these students is 73.41±10.45 ( (x|-)±s ) ,in all ,10students didn't pass the exam, 58students scored 60 to 69, 45 students scored 70 to 79,only 47 students' score was up to 80. Inhabited area, age, blood type, whether or not being singleton, occupying class cadre etc above-mentioned personal characteristic has no statistical significance. Whereas girls mean score is markedly higher than boys', most of the students in our collage still keep a good habit of recording notes when they attending lecture in class at the present time. Therefore they have got higher scores. A new issue have been found ,that is, there were few students prefer to finding and solving problems, even a problem was present, he'd rather solve it by himself. Generally, these collage students were fond of reading magazines or literatures after school. Whereas few liked reading medical literatures stored in the library. 60 percent of them never read up to 3times weekly. 68.8 percent of them would be anxious before exam, thus slightly improved their scores. Our survey even indicated these students' dissatisfaction for their teaching were mainly focused on two aspects: lack of attractive contents and vivid explains. Only 47.5 percent of them have made their great efforts, yet even more awful was, still be gratified that 91.3of them had interest in learning.The results by Multiple Stepwise Regression test indicated, the relatively positive factors effected on learning quality in weightiness order is: insist on recording notes all through, taking a part-time job for tuition at weekend, considering positive influence of teachers, message accounting less than 20yuan per month, no selecting reference books generally, ineffectively studying by oneself in scheduled time, his/her father being medical staff, hardly communicating with others, from among these factors, we can get a conclusion, the most important factors include recording notes, efficient management of a teacher in charge of a class, father's job, these three factors reflect the situations of students, schools and family, give priority to students developing, reinforce teaching administration are key factors.2. The construction results for the established platform of the SSLW for the study of ECD:The resources of SSLW achieved 6.0G approximately. The structure was rational and content was scientific, abundance; resource base had rich material and update rapidly; case analysis was typical and progress was the latest; which reflected the feature of special subject learning and topic research being assembled at it. The page was designed style uniform, simple interface, beautiful, reasonable mix of various media and links accurate, which reflected strong artistic. The appraisive result for the established platform of the SSLW for the study of ECD:The SSLW figured it has some characters such as a good scheme in collectivity, nicer function, substantial contents, no competitors. The appraisive score of the students are 1.2457±0.1802,1.2402±0.2069, 2.5250±0.3971, 3.2333±0.4527, the total is 8.2443±0.9888. All of these show us the whole level of website is higher .The design and exploitation of its structure, content and function achieve the expectant goal and request.4. The result of intervened research base on the SSLW:The SSLW increase learning interest and computer knowledge for the medical students, would satisfy them study need. The four times test marks show us that the result of special study website teaching is similar as the tradition multimedia teaching. At the anterior three times tests, the marks of the special study website are worse than the traditional one, but better than it in the end of the semester. Both the supervisors and the students consider that the special study website teaching is a little higher than the traditional multimedia teaching on using the multimedia and colligational level. The further result of the SSLW is awaiting to farther research.CONCLUSION:1. The study quality of the medical students in the school is awaiting to improve, however the mostly influencing factors of it are students themselves and the school's management. In order to construct the study website we need enhance the teaching management and lead the students' learning style to improve their study quality.2. The whole structure and the block classifications of the newly established platform~the SSLW for the study of ECD are quite reasonable. It has new and rich resources, complete functions, strong art .It can carry out a researching learning mode which give priority to the students and lead to improve the teaching management.3. The elementary estimate of the construction and effect for the children health care speciclity study website gain a better applied effect. From the teaching reformational test through random group, we can find the researchful learning style of the teachers leading under network surroundings which base on the SSLW of ECD could reach the effect as well as the traditional methods. It increased the students' independent learning ability and team cooperant spirit at the same time. The most importance is the website is developing when it is used and the resource getting rich so it can provide a scientific research and educational consultative platform for the teachers, students, parents and practitioner.
