In the trend of the change of the Government which convert to "flexibility paternalism" and the transformation of enterprises which convert to "weak altruism", the Government and enterprises are facing many challenges in the data management and services. First, the Government and the business sector need to create a unified view of data to support decision-making and external services. At the same time, they need rapid implementation of heterogeneous application integration and unified management of data to get global information visualization and the inter-provincial information integration and cross-application integration of the Government and the business sector. However, most of the information system is facing the reality: data scattered in a number of different systems in the absence of a unified data model; an application can not complete response to all the data; the access service of different applications can not share data and repeat development. The EII (enterprise information integration) is a good way to solve the above problem.EII is one of the most representative solutions of the data exchange and data integration between the data island, and Ipedo's EII products are in a relatively leading position in the international and domestic. Based on the study of the system architecture of Ipedo and related knowledge, this article focus on the improvement of its "twin engines" mechanism and the more optimization methods suited to the Ipedo products, and achieve them. For the first time this paper implement the optimization of XQuery engine in the respects of the compiled and implementation time, propose an optimization method which bases on rewriting XQuery and using Index and so on to improve the efficiency of XQuery engine. Also, taking the I/O and CPU time and reducing the I/O number of issues into account, this paper implement the optimization of SQL engine in the communications costs and reducing the transmission of data. The complex environment of EII-based integrated information management system determines that the capacity of inquiry handling is a key indicator of system performance. Specific query should be used specific optimization strategies on the specific environment, but each query also has generality. Reasonable enquiries deal with structural design coupled with the query optimization technology, will greatly enhance the performance of EII.Through the introduction of a specific case: Chizhou power company's information resources integration system, it introduces the EII's specific applications in business management, and the work which the author made in the system development and maintenance. After years of construction, Chizhou power's company has established a relatively complete management of various applications, but the data-sharing system is poor and lack of unified data collection centre and a unified marketing management and analysis of the decision-making application platform, unable to meet the needs of increasingly accurate and effective access to data and information. Therefore the best approach is on the basis of the original application system, through the method of application integration and data integration, to establish the enterprise comprehensive information platform which is not only independent but also data sharing and effective coordination. The information platform can have the maximum utilization of the professional information data accumulated over the years and transform these data to value-creating business information. According to the status quo of the information building and development trend of Chizhou power company, we have proposed a comprehensive solution of Chizhou power company's Information Resources Integration System (Enterprise Information Portal, EIP) to help Chizhou power company to have a deep-level adjustment of construction technical structure in the information field, but also solve the issues of information isolated islands t in the process of informationize.Finally, the paper summarizes the work and points out the direction for future research.
