| As the development of data communication, computer network changes from wired to wireless, from immobilized to mobilized, from single to multimedia, thus to promote the development of wireless local area network (LAN). Under the circumstances of encouraging the officials in government offices to work on internet, it becomes a necessity to expand wirelessly the built cable network and to expand the service network branches through wireless network products in mobile offices. On one hand, we are enjoying the marvelous economical benefits and conveniences brought by the information age; on the other hand, we are facing the problem of the security of the information in the wireless network. The security of the wireless network is somewhat influencing the development and management of the government network services.The invading detection system based on wireless link layer mentioned in this paper is a network security monitoring system used by a tax bureau in Wuhan to monitor the external illegal invading network and the illegal ultra jurisdiction by internal legal users in their wireless LAN construction. It is also an important supplementary to the traditional security systems like the Fire Wall. This system is made up of detection agents and controlling center, including three parts: the data packet capture, detection analysis and communication. The detection agents can work independently and cooperatively, exchange information, and be controlled by the controlling center, so they can be functioned fully and the data exchange can be simplified too. The network test and practical work have proved that this system can detect and alarm in real time if some wireless network invading happen, such as: the invading of War Driving, illegal AP and the address deceiving. In addition, this system is simple in different level and easy to put into application.It is currently being used in a tax bureau in Wuhan, has met the estimated requirements and is going to be used in other departments. |
