The flexibility and mobility of wireless network, convenient installation, low cost advantages of Internet, the Internet can whenever and wherever possible. Campus network wireless except can provide daily Internet connection, but also to the school of excellent course resources, network electronic learning resources, such as the use of OA system are transferred to the mobile device to realize. Wireless network security issues has been the impact of one of the important problems of the use of wireless networks.This article constructs in the Linux environment, replaces the Libpcap data capture to improve the original Linux packet capture efficiency using socket socket programming, and the data packet capture experiments are carried out, the wireless network packet capture performance to be enhanced, constructs a wireless intrusion detection system with snort-wireless as the core, and the intrusion detection system is verified by the experiment, the deployment in the original campus network, the system can well meet the transmission of wireless campus network data, and be able to intrusion alarm and record.Based on the increase of wireless intrusion detection system, a network of campus facilities mainstream (firewall, router, the core switches, convergence layer exchange) and wireless network intrusion system graphical interface management platform, improve the overall safety of the interaction, the network administrator network management efficiency and network. And according to the coverage of signal, signal interference, encryption, web authentication, the default configuration, intrusion detection, pseudo AP, denial of service attack, a total of 8 projects to test security platform. The test results show that the wireless network security platform to achieve the desired goals, compared to the original campus wireless network security has been greatly improved, practical.
