Wireless Lan Security Analysis And Intrusion Detection Technology

Wireless local area network as a necessary complement to the wired network, with its flexible networking advantages, has been more and more widely used in the production of people's lives. However, the wireless LAN in an open environment, with air as the medium for data transmission, there must be security risks. Currently, wireless network security issues have seriously restricted the scope of application of wireless local area network, so the studies of the wireless LAN security have become more important.Intrusion detection systems following the firewall have become the second defense system. By safely and effectively collecting the information of the key points through a computer network or computer systems and analyzing the information, it can find the violation behavior of security policy and signs of attack and show a real-time response. It has been a more perfect development in the wired network.However, due to the inherent characteristics of wireless local area network, when you apply the wired network intrusion detection technology to the wireless network, you cannot achieve the desired results. At present, most of the wireless LAN intrusion detection is at the experimental stage. And there are many problems to be resolved, such as how to combine the misuse detection and anomaly detection technology under lower cost and how to apply to wireless LAN intrusion detection systems and improve detection accuracy, and how to apply the wired network intrusion detection techniques to the wireless environment.In this paper, I have further analyzed the wireless local area network protocols and security features, studied the need for intrusion detection in wireless LAN and proposed a distributed wireless networks intrusion detection system implementation model and design method according to the principles of the introduction of intrusion detection technology in wireless LAN.
