Research And Realization Of Embedded GUI Based On Qt

Nowadays,with the rapid development of embedded technologies and modern communications,and the appearance of the new generation of communication standards,it becames possible for people to use intelligent mobile devices with business applications.The popularity of these devices in markets is a very surprise and many industrial magnates are producing this kind of devices.It requires the better Graphic User Interface of this kind of devices.Graphic User Interface(GUI) is important part of embedded software.It is currently an important subject which develops a practical,efficient and beautiful GUI based on the Linux kernel.Embedded system which is represented typically with handled devices requires a light,easily configurable and friendly GUI.Especially for commercial users,the own GUI system is helpful to develop products quickly and save the commercial charge.Firstly,this paper describes the developing situations of embedded system and GUI briefly,then introduces several kinds of GUI on embedded system and analyzes their own characteristics roughly.In the third chapter,it introduces the building of the host computer,including configuration of Linux software and a installation of Qt.In the fourth chapter,a typical Embedded GUI Qt based on Linux is analyzed and studied. including main characteristics,architecture,OOP and other related technologies of Qt.. on this base we gave a GUI example program based on embedded system,then,explain the important problem of this program.In the fifth chapter,we introduce how to install the ARM platform,then transplanted program to ARM experiment board successfully. Its tested result verify that this program run stably and is qualified.In the sixth chapter. the prospect of embedded technology and Linux is forecasted.The GUI program is characterized with simple design and full utilizable Qt system resources.It is very suitable to embedded system with its small and light character.The implement of this program provides references to developing GUI based on Linux and developing application software based on embedded system.
