In modern enterprises, it is imperious to realize information seamless integration from control layer to managing layer. This paper researches on Gateway between fieldbus and other communication bus. The purpose is to combine fieldbus with the whole control system, and effectively resolve the real-time share problem of data in the networked control system.After analyzing current control system's defects and new demands, the paper puts forward a general structure of the networked control system based on the protocol transition Gateway connecting between fieldbus and Ethernet, RS485, and mainly researches on the connections between LonWorks, CAN and Ethernet, RS485. Connective methods between LonWorks and Ethernet are studied. A hardware design of LonWorks-RS485 protocol transition Gateway is given.Then the paper accomplishes the design of CAN-RS485 Gateway prototype, including hardware design , software design and debugging.Finally, by studying on iCAN control system, CAN-RS485 protocol transition Gateway is applied to the iCAN experiment development platform that collects data via iCAN module and displays communication using iCANTest soft, and realizes the Gateway's physical simulation.
