The Research And Design About The Network Tutoring System On B/S Structure

With the continuous development of computer and network, the information of the society is evoluting, and the information technology is penetrating every domain. The development of web-based education just is a good example of it. Compared with traditional education, online education with Internet is new educational method, which is able to break through the restrictions of the time and space, helps people to study whenever and wherever possible, enable more people share good educational resources. Online education has much merits, such as opening, interaction, cooperating nature, independence, ect. helping more people, especially those unable to get campus education, acquire higher education, it will become the first-selected form of education life long. For Chinese education, online education, based on Internet technology, is an opporunity as well as challenge. If succeeded, new area would be appear.This paper proceeds from actual demand of network teaching, discusses the network tutoring system model based on Web, and also analyses the main function that the network tutoring system should possess. This paper has emphatically researched and realized several pieces of key module correlated with having an examination online, refined and resolved to the function structure of the system, and has finished the systematic function design and database structural design.The subsystem adopts more advanced B/S structure now. It uses the server to manage database. The client has to log in an examination system online through browser, take an alternative examination, submit the examination result to server database automatically. After that, the server grades automatically to the result. Comparing with the traditional online exam which is based on C/S structure, this system is more steady, suitable for the examination on Internet. Meanwhile, because the operation is on exam pool, this system can make up the paper and grade it automatically , and has shorter examination cycle and lower client requisition.The subsystem has the following characteristics: Advance,Low requisition to the client,well-stability,Flexibility,Convenience,Commonability.
