Semantic Web Service is a more intelligent Web Service, which combines the Semantic Web with Web Service. It is the future development trend of Web service. Their objective is to use a clear, understandable computer language to describe the function and content, while enhancing the existing services operating performance and robustness. Web Servcie Discovery is a indispensable tache in the Web Servcie application, which finds the most matching services under the service description information of requester. At present, the Semantic Web Service Discovery technology has gradually become a hot research. Agent is a new developing technology in Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI), because of its intelligence and flexibility, it provides a new way to implement the Semantic Web Service Discovery.In the foundation of researching on the Semantic Web Service related theories and technologies, the thesis analysises the key technologies of Semantic Web Service Discovery. Because of the lack of Quality of Service (QoS) in Service Description Model, it proposes Semantic Web Service Description Model based on QoS.The thesis also discusses the method of Semantic Web Service matching, and analysises the advantages and disadvantages of Matching Method Based on the Reasoning (MMBR) and Matching Method Based on the Similarity (MMBS). It proposes combining the MMBR with MMBS to apply to service matching, making more accurate and more comprehensive.In order to enhance the intelligence of Semantic Web Service Discovery, the thesis also introduces the Agent technology to it, then proposes the Semantic Web Service Discovery Model Based on Agent (SWSDMA), describes the design ideas of model, analysises the inner-structure and flow chart, designs and implements the prototype system of SWSDMA, demonstrates the feasibility of the model through examples.
