Web Service discovery is one of the crucial parts of service-oriented architectural model. With service-oriented concept has been accepted by more and more people, the number and the type of Web services on Internet have been increasing rapidly. Therefore, how to meet requirements of users to a mass of Web Service has become one of the key problems that need to be resolved at present. In order to resolve the existing problems of Web Service discovery, this paper has researched on the semantic-based Web Service discovery and algorithm combining with the related Semantic Web technology. The following is the main work:Firstly, the semantic-based Web Service discovery framework is proposed in this paper. A Web Service description mode is given based on analyzing and studying the Web Services description language, especially the OWL-S, and then the semantic-based Web Service discovery framework is proposed.Secondly, an asymmetric Service matching algorithm of semantic Web Service and a semantic Web Service discovery algorithm based on K-means clustering are proposed in the paper. In addition, We use K-means clustering method to preprocess registered Web service, then we only have to inquire about the clustering services which have the largest similarities to the user requests when dealing with users'requirements, which can reduce the query times of users'requirements and improve the efficiency of the acquirement. When service matching begins, the paper adopts WorldNet to calculate the similarity of the parameters based on OWL-S and quotes bipartite graph to calculate the similarity of Web service.Thirdly, the algorithms have been verified in this paper, the experimental results show that the algorithms have been improved the function of Web Service discovery.
