After years of research on Software-Define Radio[SDR](or Software Radio[SR]),it has been gradually entering the commercial applications, although there are still some thorny technical issues still to be resolved. Its essential idea is to establish a general-purpose reprogrammable hardware platform, which use wideband ADC near the antenna to digitize the IF signal, so as much as possible of the functions can be achieved by different software. Due to its system of openness, flexibility and programmability, SDR is attracting people's attention.By studying the theory of software radio theory, this paper discusses signal sampling technology, Digital up/down conversion, Multi-rate Digital Processing and digital filter. With the effort of many universities and companies, Moore's Law and innovative software have combined to provide the necessary powerful processing capability for SDR. This paper proposes the establishment of a wideband IF digital signal processing hardware platform architecture by using many programmable device. The platform integrated an AD6654 digital down converter, Cyclone series Altera FPGA and DSP chip. Also this paper gives some example programs of system configuration, filter design by matlab, system control software. Finally, the modulation and demodulation process of system is simulated and tested. The whole thesis use a variety of design and simulation tools for design, all results can be directly applied directly to the platform, truly reflects the superiority of SDR.This solution, which can greatly simplify the digital receiver hardware and enhanced generality and flexibility, may modify system parameters, and program different software to adapt to different communication pattern.
