| Almost all LAN networks are based on Ethernet except very small network. Service providers are interested in using Ethernet as the technology for Metro services. Ethernet has emerged as the natural candidate for access technology for its simplicity and for allowing service providers to rapidly offer Internet connectivity and transparent LAN services. But for the development of network technic and diversity of customers ' requirement ,it had the so many challenges ,such as terrible expand ,no redundance ,flexibility and unregular network structure ,so Provider Bridge is presented .It can fit almost the all services , and it also can suport the better QoS and the security .In this paper ,we will offer a new model about Provider Bridge which is thoroughly compatible with existing network through implement based extended-802.1Q protocol ,names VLAN switch technic. This model offers simplicity and effectiveness in providing Metro Ethernet service, It allows the service providers to stack a second VLAN (SP-VLAN) on top of customer VLAN(C-VLAN), the SP-VLAN is uniquely assigned to each customer at the ingress Metro switch, it is used for switching with in the Metro Ethernet network, at the egress Metro switch, the SP-VLAN is removed so that the original Ethernet packet witch C-VLAN is delivered to the other enterprise location transparently. On the other hand , the paper also discusses the VLAN mapping services , and it made the different VLAN can work as the same VLAN , so the customers can assign the VLAN ID that they want to their equipment without the limit and sametime can administer their network easily .This paper discuss the security, feasibility, QoS of this model and implement, Through experiment we analyzing the results for demonstration. The production of this model has comed into application partly, bringing considerable economy benefit for consumer and ISPs. |
