The development of HMD is a research and practice of synthetic technology,include computer software technology, circuit technology, image source technology,mechanism and optical technology, image source technology and micro-displayinterface circuit design always are key to HMD; According to the structure andfeature of tradition HMD, the paper design a USB2.0 interface circuit project whichuse PC platform and based on OLED micro-displaychip. In addition, this paper otherscheme of micro-display drive circuit based on TVP5150 video decoding chip for thefeatureofmicro-displaychip,furtherperfectthedesignofinterfacecircuit.Hardware interface circuit for data transmission focus on FPGA, include usbinterface module, exterior cache module, micro-display module and I2C registerconfigurationmoduleofmicro-displaychip.The quanta FIFO frame solves band width problem for high speed datatransmission,combine external cache module to achieve integrality of datatransmission; Display module adopts to ME3203 micro-display chip made fromBritainMEDcorporation.The whole interface circuit adopts the mode which 16 bit data bus paralleltransmission,twopiece 8-bit micro-displaychip that are regardedas a wholesharea16 bit bus,scan and display at the same clock,handle synchronization display ofbinocular.The hardware programming designs FPGA control unit,include USB interfacechip FIFO control device, SRAM ping-pong operation, micro-display scan sequenceandI2Cdesign.VerilogHDLhardwaredescriptionlanguageisused,whichsimilartoHierarchical Design of high-level language; the split-synthesis methods make theprocessbecomeeasy,emulationresultaftersynthesismatchthesequenceofhardwaremodule.Interface circuit of software system includes USB interface chip firmwareprogram design, USB2.0 driver and client test program, is keyto data communicationbetweenPCandinterfacecircuit.Thedesignverifydatatransmissionofhardwarecircuit;interfacecircuitadoptto12MHZ external clock, verify each modular function that transmission betweenspecial data of PC and BMP image video; The result of transmission demonstratesthefeasibilityandaccuracyofhardwarecircuit,satisfydesignrequirement.
