In 2003, China Mobile was the first among the domestic telecommunication operators to launch the service of customized ring back tone, namely Coloring Ring Back Tone (CRBT). By making use of the functions of the independent intelligent peripheral, playback and session bridge connection, CRBT substitutes rich and colorful music for traditional monotonous ringing tone; thus the caller will hear music ring instead of the ordinary ring-back tone during the call process. This service is applied by the called subscriber and may provide different ring-back tones according to the classification of different callers. As a individualized and diversified service based on caller and callee, CRBT is a brand and a new attempt of China Mobile to provide a personalized service for customers. Meanwhile, it is also a significant growth point of Mobile operator's voice value-added service.The massive growth of the subscribers brings swift raise in business volume, which drives the Mobile operator to adjust or expand its network frequently to meet the subscribers'increasing demand. While network expansion and optimization have become the operators'normal work, the perfection of the expansion project design and the reasonable setup of the system structure and operating parameters play a vital role for the stable, reliable operation of the system.Taking Human Mobile CRBT as the example, this thesis depicts firstly the basic concepts, introducing methods, network structure, signaling flow, implementation projects and principles of CRBT service in detail. Two techniques: intelligent network and switches are then compared, with their respective advantages and shortcomings expounded. Subsequently this thesis, in accordance with China Mobile Communications Corporation's new norms on CRBT, demonstrates the expansion facility's processing ability under the switch project and forecasts the configuration scheme of system module; emphasizing particularly, on the basis of traffic statistics and traffic model, together with CRBT's developing trend, actual market demand and the current situation of Mobile CRBT system in Hunan province, the schemes of the CRBT expansion project and cutover procedure. The whole requirements of Mobile CRBT expansion project and the basic principles of the system design of Mobile CRBT expansion project are afterwards taken into consideration to put forward technical proposals on expansion facility's processing ability,system module configuration, cutover procedure, etc. It also draws up cutover project on access network in detail according to the actual workflow. In the end, optimal thoughts and plans for the evolution of the CRBR technology implementation scheme, the optimization of CRBT system resource, CRBT system network structure and CRBT parameter setup are presented.
