A License Management In Digital Rights Management With The Supervision Of The Third Party

As computer network and digital technology developed drastically, piracy and freely secondhand delivery became rampant To protect the rights of merchants related to digital content. Digital Rights Management has been widely adopted. It combined a series of hardware and software technology and used digital license to protect the rights and constraints of digital content. It also protects the copyright of digital content and controls its usage and delivery. It was used throughout trade, delivery and usage of the digital content. And it was related to the rights of content providers, content operators, content distributors and terminal users.As the center of DRM, digital license is extremely important which describes using rights and constraints of digital content through REL(Rights Expressing Language).Users can only use the digital contents correctly with the legal and effective license. So, it has positive meanings to study digital rights license management system.As the original one, digital content provider has prominent position in the value chain of digital content's delivery. To protect the provider's reasonable rights is the base of delivering digital contents on web. However, contemporary digital rights license management didn't provide equalization and restriction on the rights of content providers and content operators in the digital content value chain. Content provider couldn't get the real value from their digital content in the value chain. Content provider has potential risk on its profit. In order to cover the deficiencies of contemporary digital rights license management, this paper introduces a digital rights license management base on a third party supervisor.This paper mainly describes the research, design, and realize of the license management system in DRM base on a third party supervisor. It adopted methods such as encryption, digital signature, authentication and technology such as rights description, digital watermarking, digital fingerprinting, security transactions, and electronic delivery. In ensuring the copyright of digital content out of being encroached, it introduced a third party which was profit free and adopted a safe mechanism for the content information submitting. It provided a bidirectional communication between end user and the third party. It recorded the true access information of digital content to ensure that the rights of content providers are out of being encroached and to encourage delivery of digital content on web.
