Adopting Softswtich Based TCP/IP To Optimize Existing Telecom Fixed Network

After constructing his network rapidly in past ten more years,China telecom owns a large size,vast cover scope,high communication quality network,and PSTN voice revenue is his main revenue now.But as a result of furious competition,China relecom has to face much difficulty,for example,subscribe loss,ARPU decline thank to mobile,new services provide slowly because service supply mode is unhandy.By using softswith equipment based on IP technology to optimize the exist PSTN network,China Telecom can dig furtherly his network potential,protract his PSTN network lifecycle,accelerate new broadband multi-media service supply.Network intelligentization solution adopt user data management mode of mobile network,and introduce centralized database(SHLR) to satisfy subscriber attribute data of the whole local fixed network centralized management and operation.By introducing SHLR,opening an account and service will be implemented quickly;network operation will be more convenient than before.After introducing SHLR,number portability service will be implemented in the whole local fixed network,and subscriber's service trigger mode will be changed from number trigger mode to sign trigger mode,it is more convenient that intelligent services are triggered.Softswitch based TCP/IP technology is control core of the whole fixed network, implement subscriber access control,call control,service control and so on.Standard MAP protocol is adopted between Softswitch core control equipment and SHLR to acquire all of information of subscriber.Network intelligentization solution adopt IP network as bear network, according with next generation network development.Access layer of network intelligentization solution compose narrowband region and broadband region,narrowband region satisfy PHS and PSTN network subscriber' s demand,broadband region satisfy IP and ATM network subscriber' s demand.XX Telecom is as example in this thesis,introduce network intelligization reconstruct solution and implement step in detail.In the future,after reconstructing XX relecom PSTN network by using network intelligization,NGN softswitch platform can update fixed line and mobile convergence core network based on IMS,and SHLR will update HSS of IMS framework,cater to FMC trend,and finally implement fixed network and mobile network service convergence.Looking forword to the future,network intelligization has wide developing space,as it focuse on client experience,PSTN network is his foundation,facing NGN and 3G,all-around consider service,network and operation.And network intelligization can help operater implement important transformation from based network operation to based client operation.
