The Research And Implementation Of Mongolian Educational BBS And Educational Resource Library On Mongolian Distance Education Platform

The modern distance education is a new generation of education technique which combines the computer network with the multimedia technology. Mongolian modern distance education platform has the profound influence on improving Mongolian teaching quality and promoting further Mongolian teaching development because it not only relies on the powerful internet technology but also combines with new network education idea.This thesis mainly introduces the research and implementation of Mongolian Educational BBS and Educational Resource Library that based on the Mongolian vertical ActiveX control. Mongolian Educational BBS provides online exchange which is support Mongolian for teachers and students. Mongolian Educational Resource Library System is designed according to "Educational Resources Construction Specifications" strictly, and supports the uploading and downloading of Mongolian learning resources, as well as the supporting of retrieving, displaying and commenting in Mongolian.This thesis analyzes the technical problems which need to be solved in the two systems introduced above, and gives the solution of these problems. These problems include Mongolian vertical ActiveX control applications, Mongolian code, the storage and access problem, the vertical display problem, webpage element, query problem of Mongolian data, the management of resource metadata.
