During general enterprise inventory management, the"bullwhip effect"problems which mean high inventory and requirement variability enlarged in the whole supply chain are prevailing existed. The reason of leading to the"bullwhip effect"is more complex, and the main reason is the asymmetric information involving inventory management among enterprises. Enterprise inventory management system should not only meet the needs of enterprise internal business inventories, but also ensure to maintain good communication and share of information with the upstream and downstream enterprises. An inventory management system which has the characteristics of good commonality and reusability provides a corresponding support for the rapidly and efficiently responding to the enterprises requirements.In this thesis, the theory of feature-oriented software reuse is applied to design and implement the componential inventory management system, the domain feature models is established which effectively support the development of the inventory management system. Feature-oriented inventory management system provides basic function service for a group of inventory management systems which have similar requirement, and offers support to the development of a common system by creating the reusable software components. In the changing environment, in order to adapt changing business requirement this thesis provides a new thought and method, which has very important practical significance for enterprises developing a common, reusable inventory management system.Firstly, this thesis makes a literature summary about some relative theory, such as domain of inventory management theory and software reuse method, and analyzes some problems and situation in the field of inventory management domain, and further explores the characters of inventory management system development. After comparing feature models with traditional requirement models, the thesis establishes the feature model of domain of inventory management by applying feature-oriented reuse method. Based on the analysis on the development process and research style of software architecture, and according to the mapping relationship between requirement and software architecture and the mapping process between feature model and software architecture model, this thesis designs the software architecture models with the feature models. By applying the component technology, this thesis realizes to make componential design for inventory management system. Finally,the thesis uses a case to study on the transaction flow and data of inventory management system for Aerospace Hi-Tech Holding Group Co., Ltd, puts forward the reuse case and resolution, and proves that this system can be reused, which makes the development of inventory management system have the characteristic to adapt to business requirement with flexibility changes.
