With the continuous expansion of university scale in China recent years, experimental apparatus are used more and more frequently in teaching. However, the traditional equipments can not meet the needs of the Education Reform. For instance, DSP experimental equipments are insufficient and can not satisfy the demands of control performances sometimes. Given the status quo, we designed an experimental platform based-on DSP to satisfy teaching and experiments of the DSP course. The system can be used in teaching, and also can be used in control system design based-on DSP.The golden rules of designing this system are vanguard character, typification, practicability, modularization and openness. The controller of this system is TMS320F2812 of TI Company, which is multifunctional and has enough peripheral equipment for this system. DC motor, step motor and resistance furnace will be controlled in the system. These are typical objects in industry application. The system structure designed with those design concept, such as modularization and openness, is more laconic and prone to design, debug and maintain. It is easy to know the circuit design principle of the hardware for students. Experimenters should connect all kings of Open Interfaces by themselves to form the real control circuit, thus enthusiasm and manipulative ability of them are cultivated and trained.Firstly, circuit design of the system is shown, including DC power module, control circuit of three objects, communication module. Then the paper introduced programs for three objects respectively under different conditions, and the programs of COM communication and CAN communication on DSP were also proposed. There are three objects to be controlled in the system, so tasks are multiform when it is running. It is needed to research the multi-task schedule frame based-on embedded system to realize synchronous operation of different objects and to improve the stability and real-time performance of the system. It is the way to run three objects on one system.We experienced the whole process from designing to realization. Experiment results indicate that this control system is stable and feasible. So the system is eligible as experiment equipment to be used in DSP teaching and researching in colleges, and also it will be widely used in future.
