Design And Implement Of Terminal In HomePay System Based On Digital Television

Along with the emergence of the digital era, the cable television comes into the digital television time. At present, the domestic major city's overall translation of digital television has basically come to an end, and city network operators have already started to shift attention from the translation to value-added business.Based on the domestic situation of digital television, in order to expand the scope of the UnionPay's business and to provide convenience for the people, this thesis brings out the HomePay System to carry out a method of the payment via digital television based on the VISA remote control, which includes several public utility businesses such as self-service banking, home shopping, voucher payment, and so on, that let people make day-to-day financial transactions easily via televisions.In order to realize the true sense of the HomePay System, the thesis designs this pioneering VISA remote control, people realizing a variety of financial services directly at home with such VISA remote control. This thesis introduces the research and implementation of the terminal in HomePay System, and the terminal study is divided into two parts: the VISA remote control and the set-top-box, focusing on VISA remote control. To achieve the VISA remote control, the system uses magnetic card reader to get the information of bank card, FPGA to design encryption algorithm and UART, and infrared ray to transmit data, with the realization of security depending on the DES algorithm and the Triple DES algorithm. This thesis also researches the optimized realization of Triple DES, which improves efficiency during encrypting messages and reduces the probability of transmission error.This terminal has already produced and worked. Through debugging and testing, the performance fully qualified and all systems including software and hardware are applicable.
