Now piezoresistive pressure sensors are widely used because of a low price. With the development of a pressure control system, the existing traditional pressure sensor has not met the need, however the smart sensor that has the functions of data collection, information processing, digital communication and self-governing has been imminent demand of the development of productive practice. The intelligent pressure sensor, which based on microprocessor technique, is popularized because of convenience and accrate measurement.Piezoresistive pressure sensors always faces an important problem of temperature compensation which restricts its applications because of temperature influence on sensor's sensitivity and measurement precision. Therefore, it is a significant project to research temperature compensation for piezoresistive pressure sensor. Temperature is the main factor that affects the measurement accuracy. There are many methods of temperature compensation for sensor. The software program compensation is superior to hardware circuit and makes accracy higher but cost lower. All components of the sensor, some of which are necessary for the multiple and intelligent functions, are selected ones with low cost and small package. The smart sensor then obtains the advantages of small dimension, low cost and higher anti-disturbance ability.This article designs and achieves the intelligent pressure sensor system which have the function of compensating temperature, it mainly is suitable for the work of mine, takes time-lapse collection for the temperature and the pressure signal of mine, and deposits the collected signal. It is advantageous for the user to inquire about the temperature and pressure status of mine in period of time, meanwhile disposes the collected signal, uses the curve fitting to compensate the collected signal, thus eliminates the influence of temperature change for the collected pressure signal, more truly reflects the real pressure condition of mine.The test result indicates that: The intelligent sensor for measuring pressure designed in this paper has the advantages of small size, low cost, higher performance and response speed, and higher level of intelligence. After debugging the software and hardware of the smart sensor through emulation, the result shows that its performance is perfect. So we expect that the smart sensor can have broad future applicationsin many measuring and controlling systems for pressure.
