Software reuse is the practicable and realistic technology which can solve"software crisis". The main thought of software reuse is constructing new software system using the extant software component. From the first concept of software reuse had been put forward, software reuse has been developed for nearly 40 years. In the process structured programming, object-oriented technology and the technology of component has been put forward and developed. Now the development of software reuse has broken the restriction of the old concept. The domain of reuse includes codes, design pattern, structure of software and software frame. Today, software reuse has been the power of industrialization of software.Nowadays, the J2EE frame is one of the most popular platforms of constructing software. J2EE frame is not a technology which is suitable for business enterprise class application, but also is a distributed technology which is very potential. Now, many large software enterprises adopt this frame to construct software. The combination of software reuse and J2EE will break the traditional"everything is from zero"software developing method, so it will at biggest degree improve the development efficiency of developing business enterprise class software.This thesis introduces the concept, definition and key factors of software reuse, a definition and the main knowledge, technique advantage and general software system structure of J2EE frame. It emphasizes the knowledge of EJB. The introduction includes the concept, definition and application structure of EJB, concept, definition, and description of the component and the related knowledge of the component library.This thesis studies the description, definition, and match of component and searching method and structure of the component library on J2EE platform. On this foundation, it put forward a developing method of software based on J2EE platform and component. It focuses on division and implement of software system. At last it takes warehouse system for example describing the concrete process of developing.
