| In the actual radar systems, in order to obtain experimental data to improve the arithmetic for the radar signal processing, the data acquisition and storage with high-speed, high-capacity is often needed at the scene, and processed later. PCI bus has characters of high-performance, low cost and good software compatibility, and has become the main bus system of the computer. This paper discusses the design and implementation methods of a high-speed data acquisition and storage system based on 64-bit PCI bus.This data acquisition system includes two parts: one is the data storage card based on PCI bus; another is the data acquisition card based on AD sampling. The criterion of the PCI bus and the methods to control the PCI bus are introduced, making it sure to use the 64-bit PCI bus I/O accelerator PCI9656 to implement the design of controlling the PCI bus. The system structure design of the data storage card based on the PCI bus and the dual-channel data acquisition card based on the AD9640 are shown respectively. Their main function modules and how to make them come true are analysed in details, and the problemes which should be noticed in the hardware circuit design are also discussed. The system-driven and application program development based on WinDriver and Visual C++6.0 development tools and the system debugging are dissertated. Based on the sampling parameters setting by users expediently for specific requirements, this data acquisition system can be used to sample the radar vedio signal and store the data, making high-speed, high-capacity data acquisition come true. |
