An auto-detecting and classifying device of the size of plate level is discussed in the paper.This equipment obtains the image signal of plate level through CMOS image sensor, and gets the position information of bubble in the plate level after processing.Processor estimates whether the plate level is plane or not according to the known information,and controls the motor to adjust the plate level to a plane position,and finally displays the size and classification of bubble on the interface software written by the author.This paper has also further researches the theoretical optical model,and finds out a most suitable image processing arithmetic for the auto-detecting and classifying equipment according to the theoretical optical model.It has proved that this equipment can perfectly carry out the auto-detecting,and greatly improve the detecting efficiency with the precision of 5μm—10μm which is far surpass the capability of naked-eye 0.2 mm.In addition,the hardware and software components of auto-detecting and classifying equipment is particularly described in this paper.The hardware components mainly include four parts:image acquisition module,central processor,motor controlling module and displaying module;the software components mainly include the concrete realization of image processing arithmetic and writing interface software.
