Thanks to the development of multimedia technology and computer technology, there are a lot of learning resources in the internet, and this gives a good opportunity to writing education. Learning resource is very important for writing. Plenty of learning resources can stimulate students to image, then to develop their creativity. So, making suitable computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) environment for writing is very meaningful for writing instruction.According to the theory of cognitive development, when one person is a schoolchild, he shall get a good cultivation of collaboration and creativity. As the start learning period of writing, primary school is a crucial stage. Based on the research of our country and aboard, we can find that, though many experts have made plenty of research on computer-supported collaborative learning, and developed some collaborative learning systems, seldom of them are fit for students in primary school. Referring to the importance of collaboration in writing learning and the meaning of computer-supported collaborative writing learning, the research is started.Based on the investigation on CSCL, this research mainly concentrates on collaborative learning environment, and tries to find a good communication way in writing instruction-"story extendibility". Based on the theory analysis, I design and develop a Agent based collaborative writing learning system for primary schoolchild.
