The research of muti-path routing protocol and the application of MPLS on Ad Hoc network have been hot points. As one of the important part supported by the project of NFSC(No. 60372101), This paper introduces the principles of the typical feedback routing protocol-AODV and MPLS firstly. Then, following research work are described: (1) a novel node-disjointed routing protocol named TRND-AODV is proposed, this protocol is based on AODV and it can provide multiple loop-free and link-disjoint path and can reduce the frequency of query floods. (2) a new network framework based on MPLS and TRND-AODV is designed and a new muti-path routing protocol based on MPLS and TRND-AODV is given.(3)The model of the Ad Hoc network based on MPLS is constructed on OPNET platform and the performance of theprotocols——AODV, TRND-AODV and AODLS are analysised andcompared.According to the results of simulation, TRND-AODV has better reliability and stability, less routing payload, and decreased delay than AODV. AODLS, which is based on TRND-AODV and MPLS has same advantage in reliability and stability, has less delay than TRND-AODV because the network can transmit the packets faster by using MPLS, especially in case of heavy load.In the end of this paper, the problems in resarch work are discussed and the deeper research directions are pointed out.
