In this thesis, we design a new telecommunication system. This design draws lessons form soft-switching, and there are no switchboard in this system. The telephone works in standard half-duplex communication way, and adopt bus topology, so it is easier to be setup, convenience to be maintained, and tend to be expanded. Because there are no switchboard, so all the functions that switchboard has should be implemented by the corporation of all the no-center digital telephones, such as sending or receiving the signals, managing the status of channels, and so on. For the same reason, this system has higher security, and it can avoid the hidden trouble that caused by destroying the switchboard, so it is very suitable to be used in field campaign or other fieldwork. The purpose of this thesis is to bring a reasonable scheme, and implement it in laboratory.There are two logical parts of the thesis, each describing the design from a different aspect.The first part introduces the collectivity design of this system, including the topology of this system, the way of processing the call.The second part elaborates the design and implementation of no-center telephone. This telephone has two PCB boards, the first board uses C8051F410 as its MCU, and the second board use DSP as its MCU. In this thesis, we'll emphasize to introduce the design and implement of the first layer. In hardware aspect, the main is the design of interface circuit for C8051F410 and its peripheral equipments; In software aspect, we use C language to develop all the functions that designed.
