IP Network Runtime Performance Evaluation And System Implementation

In early days of network development, service providers couldn't guarantee the network, and users didn't have a high requirement of that. With the rapid development of network technology, IP technology is becoming more and more important. As the basis of NGN network, service-dedicated network, data core network of mobile communication network, runtime quality status and service quality assurance of IP carrier network is drawing more and more attention.Network performance evaluation indicator is of the most importance in network runtime quality evaluation. Currently, research on network performance evaluation indicator is focused on partial characters of the network, such as partial time, partial space, and partial dimension. Method and indicators of network performance integrated evaluation do not exist, while they mean a lot to network operators and network management staff.Based on the current network evaluation indicator system, this thesis first briefs network runtime quality, including concept, evaluation method, and new evaluation system and process. Secondly, this thesis discusses the detailed evaluation method theoretically, including dimension integration, space integration and time integration. Thirdly, this thesis proposes formally description of the integrated evaluation method, including definition, calculation method and calculation formula. Fourthly, evaluation method proposed in this thesis is verified in experiment. Finally, this thesis concludes the whole work already done and plans future work.
