Wireless LAN is the fastest-growing technology of mobile communication. In the past few years, WLAN based on IEEE 802.11, BLUETOOTH based on IEEE 802.15, WIMAX based on IEEE 802.16 all have tremendous growth in their respective fields. With the development of the relative technology, the parts of broadband wireless product became more complex. If the performance are to come up to the expectation, it need the support of the more complete test system..The dissertation first give a general introduction of the background knowledge, including the series of IEEE 802 11/15/16 standards, the contents and methods of CE/FCC certification test and the importance of finding out a way to implement automatic testing. Then a solution of RF automatic testing in both hardware and software aspect based on IEEE 802 standards and CE/FCC certification specifications is given.The structure and implementation of hardware platform is expounded. Because is to three RF access technologies, so three kinds hardware connecting scheme are put forword. Though there are three different hardware connecting scheme, it adopt the unitive software management system and three kinds technology RF test managements are integrated throughout the same control software. The system are designed by modular. The system software implements the following functions: connect and control all the testing equipments during testing period, automatic system calibratin, implement automatic RF testing, test result judgment, testing information management and create testing reports.The main task of this dissertation is the implementation of the system management and control software. Written in C++ language and compiled in VC++ 6.0 environment makes the software graphical user interface very friendly. The main problems of the software are to be solved including: the control methods of the management software to test equipment, the communication solution between the main controlling PC and wrong packet statistical software, the solutions of automatic test report generation and so on.The dissertation takes the frequency flatness test of wimax as an example, elaborate the specific parement setting process and control statement, the call way of the functions, the solve way of the test result and the generation process of test report.At the end of dissertation, a brief estimation of the test system is given.
