The hybrid system of hardware and software is becoming more and more important and widely used in the fields of industrial products,aviation and navigation,transportation and communication.Therefore,the research on the reliability of the hybrid system of hardware and software is also attached great importance.At first,the research on the reliability of this kind of system is to test the software reliability and hardware reliability separately,and then fuse the results,ignoring the reliability problems caused by the interaction of software and hardware in the hybrid system.Since then,although there are also reliability evaluation methods for mixed hardware and software systems,they often pay more attention to the hardware part and integrate the software reliability into the hardware reliability profile in the form of stress.Although this method is very consistent with the standard of hardware reliability testing,it is not close to the real software usage,and has the problems of long time and low stability in the strategy of reliability test case generation.Therefore,it is necessary to study the method of automatic generation of reliability test cases which is more suitable for hardware and software hybrid systems.In order to solve the above problems and improve the strategy of hybrid system reliability test case generation,this paper proposes a hybrid system reliability evaluation method based on software test profile(1)The construction method of software test profile and comprehensive test profile maps the environmental stress based on the software test profile to improve the accuracy of hybrid system reliability test,which is more in line with the real process of the user using the system.A profile shows a complete use process without disturbing or interrupting the process.(2)On the basis of comprehensive test profiles,an automatic generation method of test reliability cases for hybrid systems is proposed.This method can be applied to the reliability evaluation of various hardware and software hybrid systems,which can ensure the coverage and quantity sufficiency of test cases while ensuring that the profile fits the actual product program.(3)On the basis of the above research,this paper also designs and implements the corresponding software hardware hybrid system evaluation tool Rel Hybrid,which can construct the comprehensive test section of the software hardware hybrid system,automatically generate test cases,carry out reliability test,and carry out reliability evaluation according to the feedback data after the test.Compared with the traditional random test case generation algorithm,it is found that the test case generation strategy in this paper is more close to the actual use,has higher stability and lower time-consuming,and saves the test cost.The experimental results of reliability test show that the proposed method can detect more system failures and provide more accurate reliability evaluation for hardware and software hybrid systems.
