Research And Design Of Real-Time Image Processing System

With the progress of modern electronic technology, computer network and multimedia, the technology of image capture and processing has been developed rapidly and has been applied to biomedicine, industry, military and telecommunication. As an effective analytical instrument, wavelet analysis has aroused the attention of scientists and researchers in various fields and subjects. And remarkable achievements have been made. And digital image processing by the aid of wavelet analysis is one of the hot issues of wavelet research and application.This paper focuses on several traditional methods of image enhancement. And a method of image enhancement based on wavelet transform has been introduced in detail. This algorithm is modification the coefficients of grads information under different scales using wavelet coefficients. So the effect of image enhancement has achieved by improving contrast of images. And the algorithm has been programmed by visual C++.On the other hand, based on Windows system, this paper raises system design and sets up the hardware environment of the system. The software system has been developed by Visual C++6.0. The OK Card has been used to second development. Some methods, steps and important codes are given by VC++. The functions that the card library offered are used to capture and process image.
