The Design And Implemention Of Presence Adapater In ISAG

Along with the development of value-added business of telecom, there is a growing demand of rapid development of new business and service. And in this context, Integrated Service Access Gateway (ISAG) came into being, which may not only greatly reduce the business development threshold of CP/SP, but also facilitate the carriers to concentrate on business management. Without professional knowledge in telecom, the CP/SP could also develop varieties of value-added services conveniently by invoking the service capacity in ISAG through the open and unified ParlayX interface.The presence adapter is a part of ISAG, which makes it possible for CP/SP to develop new business using presence service capacity.This paper mainly studys the conversion between Paraly X and SIMPLE. This paper firstly introduces the background of the ISAG and presence service. On this basis, the second and third chapter gives a detailed briefing on the ISAG and presence service, including the system architecture and related primary technology. The fourth and fifth chapter is the emphasis of this paper and mainly focuses on the design and implementation of the presence adapter in ISAG The following sixth chapter briefly introduces the related testing work on the presence adapter in ISAG Finally, it gives a brief summary on the paper as well as the research.
