With the fast development of Internet and embedded technology ,the conventional mine safety monitoring system are now facing new challenge. So,how to put the supervisor system to log onto the Internet and realize the remote supervisor based on Internet is currently a very hot area in the field of monitoring autoration. As for our country,how to find the mine safety supervisor and control system based on Internet which is suitable to the situation of our country is more practical. Under the background,the following reseach on mine safey monitoring system has been made.Firstly, the technoligy which are related to mine safety monitoring system are introduced in the papers: embedded processor and embedded operater; embedded Internet and related projects;KJF23B substation and photical transfer machine. Then the merit and fault of method of the foreign embedded Internet are analyzed in the paper,and the whole design idea has been proposed for the mine safety monitoring system based on Internet. This system adopt circular network design and introduce TCP/IP protocol as its core,conquer the disadvantages of uncompatible communication protocols and resolve the lightning stike problem that existent in monitoring system which communicate with cable at present. This system is very practical and easy to intergrate with the enterprise network.Sencondly, the hardware design of the substation has been made in papers. The 32bit S3C4510B based on ARM7TDMI core is chosen as the main control chip in this design. The middle-high processing speed is used to improve the performace of CPU.In the end,the deeply reseach on the embedded Internet technology of the substation has been done. The topic is devided into two parts to discuss in this papers. The first is the choice of software platform. To make the system more safe and reliable,the necessity and significance of using the RTOS are demonstrated. The free and sourse-code-open real time operation system ofμC/OS-II is chosen as the software platform and is successfully transplanted onto the hardware platform. The second is the embedded Internet technology realiztion. The orginal complex TCP/IP has been simplified according to the features of the embedded system and the TCP/IP model suitable to the embedded use is proposed and embedded to the RTOS.
