With the development of integrated circuits , linear elements such as resistors , inductors , capacitors and non-linear semiconductor elements have become increasing miniaturization . At the same time , due to the increase of signal frequency and the emerging of high-speed pulse , the size of components compared to the corresponding signal wavelength can be treated as zero-dimensional unit , which are lumped elements. Therefore , in microstrip integrated circuits and digital signal transmission system the treatment of lumped elements is of the great importance .In this paper adopts FDTD algorithm (Finite-Difference Time-Domain , referred to FDTD) , with one-order Mur absorbing boundary condition , to achieve the simulation and research of plane microstrip configuration loading lumped elements . First of all , the FDTD differential format of single-grid lumped elements is established , and simulation results of simple mixed circuit loading lumped elements by FDTD method and PSpice software separately is given , while the patch shaped lumped elements are simulated . Then this paper discusses multi-grid processing lumped elements methods and gives the corresponding simulation results , and moreover compares the low-pass filter different simulation results of FDTD and PSpice .In addition , this paper also presents a novel electric field update formula of FDTD simulating lumped elements , and discusses loss and lossless microstrip transmission line loading different medium lumped elements elaborately, and gives the simulation results of FDTD and PSpice . Finally through lumped elements electric field update formula , the thesis analyses FDTD experimental simulation results of the different lumped elements detailedly .
