SAP SD Module's Practice In Manufacturing

The enterprises improve management and competency through the information constructing; their main concern during this process was how to construct the suitable information system fast and efficient. This paper summarizes the system implementation method for manufacturing enterprises through SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, and provides a partial solution for the above concern.The present paper is organized as follows. Firstly, the characteristic, composition and infrastructure of SAP system are introducted, and emphasized the value of SD module. Secondly, SD's implementation steps and methods in manufacturing enterprises are delivered based on SAP's AcceleratedSAP methodology, through Requirement Analysis & Design, Technical Analysis & Design, Technical Construction, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Implementation, and Implementation Support 7 phases. Thirdly, normally used SD documents formats and templates during the implementation are presented. Finally, the method of the integration between SAP system and other systems are put forward, through the example of the data exchange between SAP System and Golden Tax System, and the interface's design and realization are clarified in detail also.This project implementation method referred in this paper has been deployed in lots of manufacturing enterprises. With this method guide, can avoid most questions that may appeared during the system implementation, and can speed up SAP system's implementation. It promises to be helpful in the implementation of the similar ERP system at the same time.
