Design And Implementation Of Distribution Sales Management Information System On Furniture Warehousing

Nowadays,e-commerce technology is widely used because of the popularity of computer networks. Production efficiency has been improved greatly, and costs has been reduced because of online showing, online shopping, online distribution, and management capabilities. In this sense, it is necessary to design according to certain characteristics of the company’s sales of furniture, design a management information systems of furniture warehousing distribution sales in order to apply e-commerce technology to sell, distribute and furniture, and manage furniture company.In this thesis, the Web-based management information systems of furniture warehousing distribution sales is design, which includes two functional modules one is the reception and the other is admin user. The former includes product browsing, user registration and login, order management, users information maintenance, product reviews, management of receipt information and shopping cart management. The later includes order management, management of commodity and commodity type, warehouse management and systems management. The system integrates the company ’s management and users’ shopping under the design approach of B / S structure, which is mainly based on the technology of PHP, which adopts Dream Weaver software and Css technical design dynamic pages, and in which MYSQL is applied as a site database. The system also provides a reasonable distribution, enables registered users, non-registered users to buy online as well as enables registered users to manage their own information on the background and administrators to manage the data of the company on the background.The system was developed and researched to meet the specific needs of the information management of the sales and distribution process for a certain furniture sales company. It has many advantages, such as updating information timely, reducing cost, easily using, being widely used, and easy maintenance. After testing and analysis of the system, the result indicates that the system has met the needs of expanding sales, timely delivering and managing by IT, and that the system has solved several problems, such as the limitations of sales, non-science of distribution and the difficulty of management. Therefore, the system achieved the desired goals, which can be put to use.
