IDC, as a data exchange center, is basic installations for hosted outsourcing services of website system.With the development of it and network technology, one of the most important problems of IDC management is how to present IDC to users in direct and vivid way. Convenient and rapid display and management of mass complicated information became choke-points of double-dimension UI, and the past static HTML webpage could not satisfy users'demands, which urge people to study and exploit three-dimension UI to build up visual effects. Therefore, introducing virtual simulating techniques based on Web into IDC become a significant research projectBased on the analysis of efficient management and visible effect of IDC, this thesis studied scene constructing, interaction between scene and users, scene collision detection, etc. by means of combining virtual reality with computer simulating techniques, which contributed to the realization of IDC virtual simulating system on the basis of B/S mode. First, this system brought forward a B/S network management system scheme based on Web technology. Second, this system made use of IDC scene information in database to establish simulating scene by way of integrating VRML and Java techniques, and combined simulating with virtual reality to realize an interaction between users and scenes. This system also introduced the method of IDC collision detection. When users click this model, real-time information such as state and attribute of this model would return to virtual scene through Web for users'browse. Finally, based on the above-mentioned research, this thesis introduced detailed design and realization of basic function of IDC virtual simulating system based on B/S mode.
