Application Research On Visiting Database Service Based On OGSA-DAI

Grid computer develops rapidly and steadily,it also boosts the internet technology.As we know,the purpose of Grid is to unite different resources logically all over the world through internet,make it a highly integration and organic collective, supply a powerful computing ability to outside.Grid can make the different,dynamic, distribute resources to a great computing system,these resource include computing, storage,data,information,equipment etc.Because of structural data applying in Grid,DataBases are necessary in Grid. Database Grid is a kind of data grid,it grid the database,and supply grid database service base on OGSA,make grid users and other grid service visit different grid database through database grid service,which composed by Database systems.This paper researchs a middle-ware technology in data grid service,named OGSA-DAI(Open Grid Service Architecture-Data Access and Integration),it analyses OGSA's inside mechanisms through a example of visiting database service,and explains to us how programs and clients interact.Base on OGSA-DAI,I apply in EJB which is a core module in J2EE,the article detailed discusses how to use OGSA-DAI replace EJB's entity Bean,achieve the data persistent layer function in Enterprise's application.After introducing the system model,I use a example to explain how the OGSA-DAI work,in a application there are two different database system,datas in the two database system may hava some relationship,but every system is designed by different tools,run on different platform, and the datas form are also different,this result in poorer share,lower efficiency.To link these two different database through OGSA-DAI,it assembles separate resource to a data resource entity,supplys system a unify visiting interface and high quality to clients.At last,I find out that performances of visiting database are related to different database's DBMS(Database Management System),and visiting database through OGSA-DAI have a low speed,so I optimize the system,it can remarkable improve response speed.
