Research On Federation Control Tool For HLA-Based Simulation

The distributed interactive sinmulation have developed rapidly and applied avidly. These applications have become complex gradually and the number of federates have become bigger. Therefore, in order to insure stabilization, accomplishing special assistant software for the system managers to monitor and control the federation has great significance. Theoretical study on several problems in monitoring, controlling and data collecting are presented in this dissertation. The Federation Control Tool (HIT_FCT) is realized in final.First, based on the research of business tool such as FedDirector and FMT which appear on the market, the theory of monitor and control the federation is introduced, including MOM technology and XML technology. Then, a homologous design project is put forward according to the demand analysis and the design requirementd; the whole design is completed.Second, aimed at the monitor module and the control module on a design foundation, the key technique of the realization is carried on a research according to generality, stability and independence. Then, the programming interface of RTI is confirmed, function realization and procedure realization is completed in final.Then, combined the design project, aimed at the init module and the data recorder module, the XML data description technology is proposed on the basis of analyzing the input or output data characteristic and comparing the extant data description methods. Then, the whole data management system is designed and realized, the development of HIT_FCT is completed finally. Moreover, the data management part can integrate with other simulation tool with the goals of initializing data and recording data, thereby offering base for the whole federation.Then, the application of HIT_FCT in the simulation system of the attack-defense countermine is designed. The comprehensive test is completed according to functionality and reliability. It indicates the vital role of HIT_FCT in simulation by a practical application.Finally, the conclusion of the sduty and the research orientation are given out.
